Hello Adventure’s and welcome back to another post. Now for the part two of my Harry Potter adventure at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. After we rode the Escape Gringots ride we high tailed it over to Kings Crossing station so we wouldn’t miss the Hogwarts Express. Walking through platform 9 3/4 was amazing, it was quite interesting because they had created some sort of optical illusion so as watching from afar it looked like people were actually walking though the wall. When in reality there was nothing there.

Next we waited for the train to take us to Hogsmeade Station, not before we got some amazing photos.

Sadly photos were not allowed while on the train so I didn’t get any on the ride to Hogsmeade.
Once off the train we headed towards Hogsmeade. Again I was in shock, even though it was hot and kind of muggy outside there was snow on the high pointed roofs.( It was fake snow but it made it looks so cool ) The cobblestone streets were full of people walking in and out of shops, and waiting in line for fresh butterbeer. It was a dream come true.

Tay, Sky and I all wanted butterbeer and it was quite a long line, so being the amazing people they are my Mom and Krystal got in line for butterbeer while Tay, Sky and I explored a few shops. So naturally we went to Honeydukes which an amazing candy shop full of, Berrtie Botts Every Flavored Beans, chocolate frogs and so much more. I skipped out on the jelly beans because, let’s just say I unintentionally ate a rotten egg flavored one and I will not willingly eat those again. But Tay and Sky each got a chocolate frog and some other goodies. I bought a bottle Felix Feleces Aka liquid luck, because 1. It played a large role in the 6th book. and 2. Who wouldn’t want some liquid luck? After we paid for our goodies we went to find Mom and Krystal to finish waiting for our butterbeer with them.

After what seemed like ages we finally got our butterbeer. There were three butterbeer options cold, hot and frozen. I got cold, and Tay frozen, Skyler also got cold but ended up switching for Krystal’s frozen one. If you ever wondered what butterbeer tastes like, if you ever had cream soda it tastes almost identical to cream soda besides the white foam on top has a hint of butterscotch.

Now about the Hogwarts castle itself, sadly you can’t just tour or walk around the castle you have to be in line for the ride inside. But let me tell you the castle was a breathtaking sight. It looked exactly how I pictured it when I read the books. I’m glad to say I got quite a few pictures of the magnificent School of Witch Craft and Wizardry.

Sadly it was extremely dark inside the castle while waiting in line for the ride, so I only got one good photo which I will share down below.

Now after we finished up the Harry Potter attractions we walked around the entire Islands of Adventure park and saw all they had to offer. I didn’t take very many photos of that because I was just focused on spending time with my family.

Comment down below your Hogwarts house or what candy you would want at Honeydukes. If you want to see more about Hogwarts and Hogsmeade check out Taylor’s blog Compass Required. Until the next adventure,
Love, Payton
We had such a great time. Seeing the castle for the first time was one of my favorite moments. Riding Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was not. 🤢 Supposedly I am a Hufflepuff, but I don’t see it! 😉 ❤️
