I Visited Diagon Ally In Universal Studios

Hello Adventure’s welcome back to another post. I’m so excited to share my adventures at Universal Studios in Florida with all of y’all ! I will be separating this amazing trip into two sections because there is just to much to show in one post. My Mom, Taylor and I along with a few good friends traveled to the land of Harry Potter with us and I’m so thankful I got to have this experience with them. I’m also glad that I got to fan girl with Taylor and my amazing friend Skyler who came with us, with her stepmom Krystal. Now enough chit chat onto the magic.

We entered the park just before opening time and waited with the growing crowd to get to explore this amazing place. We all mostly if not only came for the Harry Potter attractions , so once we could start walking around we made a beeline for Diagon Alley before it got too crowded.

Here is a photo from were we entered the park.
While on our way to Diagon Alley we pasted the night bus!! Trust me when I said we were all pretty excited when we saw this.
Here’s a picture of Skyler, Taylor and I in front of the night bus.
When we walk into Diagon Alley we were all star struck and in awe. We were so exited to actually be here.
Here’s another picture I took as we walked into Diagon Alley.

The first shop we went into was Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes and let me tell you this shop was probably one of my favorites of the whole trip. There were so many details described in the books that they incorporated in the shop. Of course I had to purchase a love potion because 1. The role it played in the Half-blood Prince book and 2. I just really wanted it. I could of spent hours just taking in every detail of the shop but there was so much more to see so we went to our next stop.

Here are some photos from inside Weasleys Wizard Wheezes.

Next we went to Olivander’s Wand Shop, so Tay, Sky and I could get our wands. Sadly I don’t have any photos of Tay and Sky’s wands but I do have a few photos of my wand so I’ll share those. Olivander’s was an amazing experience, choosing my wand was quite fun. I will never forget how the shelf’s upon shelf’s of wand boxes looked. Again I could have stayed in that shop for ages if it wasn’t so crowded.

The photos do not do this shop justice.
Here is a photo of my wand. I chose to get an Alder wood wand instead of a wand belonging to another character. This wand does not have a specific core so Tay looked up the different wand cores from the book and assigned each of us the one that fit our personalities the best. So my wand is an 16 1/2 inch Alder wood wand with a horned serpent horn core. Yes all three of us did have a very long conversation about what our wand lengths are and what our wand cores should be. Yes I also measured my wand because I was curious.
Here’s a picture of us trying to pick out our wands with Krystal trying to help us.
We also visited Gringots, the bank for the wizarding world. I did not get very many photos of the inside because you can’t tour the inside there’s a ride instead. The ride is called Escape Gringots and I highly recommend it.

Comment down below what you think your wand core would be or what you would be most excited for if you visited Universal Studios. If you want to see more about Diagon Alley, check out Taylor’s blog Compass Required. Until the next adventure,

Love, Payton
