Hello adventures and welcome back to another baking post. I just love cookies, cookies are some of my favorite desserts to make and eat. So for the next couple posts, I will be sharing some of my favorite cookie recipes. These double chocolate chunk cookies are amazing, and perfect for any chocoholics out there. I found this recipe on the blog Modern Honey. Now on to the recipe.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of softened unsalted Butter
- 1 cup of Brown Sugar
- 1 cup of Sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
- 2/3 cup Unsweetened Baking Cocoa Powder (I used dark chocolate cocoa powder)
- 2 1/4 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Chocolate Chunks or Chips (I used dark chocolate chunks)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and sugar for 4 minutes or until light and creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla and mix for 1 minute longer. Scrape the sides of the bowl.
Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking soda and salt. Fold in chocolate chunks.
I use a 1/4 cup ice cream scoop to get even sized cookies. (If you use a massive ice cream scoop like I do the cookies will be very large and will spread out so give the cookies room to spread.) I placed the dough balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Then placed them in the oven to bake for 9-11 minutes or until cookies begin to puff up and the sides begin to indent. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before removing from pan.

Comment down below your favorite type of cookie. Until the next adventure,
Love, Payton
