Christmas in Wonderland and Attempting To Decorate a Gingerbread House

Hello adventures welcome back to a new blog post. Last week was an eventful and exiting week for my house hold. My grandparents came to stay with us for the week and I got to do so many fun things with them. On Wednesday my Mom, Grandma, little Sister and I went to a nearby town that had a light show set up on the harbor for the holidays. We really didn’t have much hope because its a very small town but we were pleasantly surprised. There were so many lights and it was such a beautiful sight. It felt like I was walking through a winter wonderland. I would like to thank my little sister Taylor for taking all of the photos that I will be showing y’all in this post.

Here is a photo of the Main Street all decorated in beautiful lights.
This is a lot bigger in person than it looks on camera.
Here is a photo of Taylor, the girl who took all the photos seen above.

On Friday my Mom, Grandma, Taylor and I tried to decorate a pre-made gingerbread house. Let me tell you it did not go as planned. We were just having fun with it, singing Christmas music and eating most of the frosting, of course. When we were finished it was cute and we got some photos of it before it all came crashing down. This was probably partly my fault because I got too excited and started putting all the decorations on before it was ready. Here are some photos of our attempted gingerbread house.

So this is what it was supposed to look like.

And this is what we made.
I’m quite sure you can see it was leaning.
And it all came crashing down.
Here are the remains of our gingerbread house but we did get to eat it sooner so thats a plus.

Thank you for reading my random Christmas blog post. Comment down below if you have driven around looking at Christmas lights yet this year or decorated a gingerbread house. Until the next adventure

Love, Payton
